Returns & Refunds

LumiVitae is committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and consistent experience for its customers.

Products may be returned within 21 days of the date of delivery for a refund of the price paid. Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.

As a rule, returned products must be in a condition suitable for resale. This requirement does not apply where the return results from a defect or an error attributable to LumiVitae.

LumiVitae reserves the right to refuse or proportionally adjust any refund where returned products do not comply with these conditions.

Return Process

To initiate a return, customers must contact the LumiVitae Care Team at [email protected].

Upon review, customers will receive return instructions, including the designated return address and any required reference details.

Returns sent without prior authorization, or to an address not designated by LumiVitae, may not be processed where this prevents proper identification, handling, or verification.

Customers remain responsible for ensuring that returned products are appropriately packaged and shipped. LumiVitae may request proof of shipment where necessary.

Refund Processing

Refunds are issued exclusively to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase and cannot be redirected to alternative payment methods.

Refunds are processed only after the returned product has been received and verified. Depending on the payment provider, the refunded amount may take up to 10 business days to appear in the customer's account.

LumiVitae reserves the right to withhold any refund until the return has been duly received, inspected, and matched to the corresponding order.

Return Shipping Costs

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed by LumiVitae, return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

All returns must be shipped prepaid. LumiVitae does not accept shipments sent on a collect-on-delivery basis and assumes no responsibility for items lost, delayed, or damaged in transit.

Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Products

Customers must inspect their orders promptly upon delivery.

Any issues relating to damaged products, missing items, or discrepancies must be reported within 10 days of delivery.

Failure to notify within this timeframe may limit LumiVitae's ability to investigate and resolve the matter.

Where a claim is validated, LumiVitae may, at its discretion, provide a replacement, partial refund, or full refund.

Lost Packages

If an order has not been delivered, customers must contact LumiVitae within 30 days from the shipment confirmation date.

Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for investigation, replacement, or refund.

Customers may be required to cooperate with the carrier and provide confirmation of non-delivery.

Unsupported Countries & Freight Forwarding

LumiVitae ships only to destinations made available at checkout on lumivitae.com.

Where products are forwarded, reshipped, or transported to unsupported countries, this is done entirely at the customer's own risk.

In such cases, LumiVitae cannot guarantee delivery, provide warranty support, or assume responsibility for customs duties, delays, losses, or regulatory issues.

The use of freight-forwarding or similar services to circumvent shipping restrictions is not permitted. LumiVitae reserves the right to cancel orders, suspend accounts, or refuse service where such practices are identified.

Customs and Import Issues

For supported destinations, shipments are made on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis.

Where customs intervention or additional processing is required, customers are encouraged to contact the LumiVitae Care Team.

LumiVitae assumes no responsibility for customs-related issues arising from shipments outside its official shipping framework.

Order Changes and Delivery Issues

Once an order has been processed or dispatched, it may no longer be amended or cancelled.

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all shipping details provided at checkout are accurate and complete.

LumiVitae shall not be liable for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information. Where shipments are returned under such circumstances, the standard return process will apply.

Commissions and Adjustments

Where a refund is issued, any commissions, points, bonuses, or incentives generated from the original transaction may be adjusted, reversed, or reclaimed in accordance with LumiVitae's applicable compensation structure.

Abuse and Policy Misuse

LumiVitae reserves the right to limit, refuse, or take appropriate action in response to return or refund requests that are excessive, abusive, or inconsistent with the intended purpose of this Policy.

This includes, without limitation, repeated returns, product misuse, or attempts to circumvent standard purchasing or return processes.

Special Circumstances

LumiVitae may temporarily suspend or limit shipping operations where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including logistics disruptions, regulatory changes, or force majeure events.

Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
